Pilling usually happens due to friction, washing, or regular wear. Wool and other natural fibers are living materials, and their softness makes them prone to tiny bobbles on the surface.

Wash cold (max 30°C) on wool cycle – gentle and steady
Use enzyme-free detergent – made for wool
Place the knit in a laundry bag to protect fibres
Avoid tumble drying – dry flat on a towel
Never wring – gently press out excess wate
Wash at low temperature and follow the care label
Use a mild detergent without bleach
Avoid high spin speeds
Air dry – avoid tumble dryer and direct heat
Handle gently – it helps maintain shape and reduces pilling
